ASRIMM - Swiss Romandy Association for Intervention against Neuromuscular Diseases

Since 1977, the ASRIMM (Swiss Romandy Association for Intervention against Neuromuscular Diseases) has been advocating for the interests of individuals affected by neuromuscular diseases and their loved ones.

It promotes their inclusion and participation in active life by improving social, professional, and medical support at every stage of life.

Far from being limited to financial support, the services offered by ASRIMM range from social counseling to the creation of self-help groups, as well as the organization of leisure activities and themed events.

Project: Accessibility to Sports and Leisure Activities for All!

ASRIMM, aware of the importance of leisure and sports for everyone’s physical and mental well-being, is committed to making these activities accessible to as many people as possible.

With this in mind, the association develops a program of diverse cultural and sports activities, tailored to the needs and preferences of all, whether children or adults. These activities are offered throughout the year, thanks to a varied leisure program and a membership card that facilitates access.

Every year, ASRIMM also organizes stays for its beneficiaries. These stays aim to provide participants with moments of relaxation and leisure while supporting their caregivers. The association addresses challenges such as the cost of vacations, the constraints related to illness, or caregiver fatigue by offering adapted and inclusive solutions.

Through this initiative, ASRIMM reaffirms its commitment to promoting access to leisure for all, encouraging personal development, and providing invaluable support to families.
